In contrast to the m407, which is adapted for transmissions with relatively rough clearance, the m408 is a relatively compact design in recent years, and is a product developed to suit transmissions characterized by tighter clearance and backlash.m408 uses multiple hydrocarbon-based synthetic base oils with excellent viscosity-temperature characteristics and ester-based synthetic base oils with excellent heat resistance and solubility to enable use in transmissions with tight clearances.we use carefully selected functional polymers that enable flexible viscosity tracking with respect to speed.however, 75w140 is a non-polymer specification, assuming use under high temperature and high load conditions.
